I used to write poetry when I was about 19 or 20, when I took a Creative Writing course in college. As a kid, I think perhaps junior high, we had a Hammond Chord Organ to which the chords were little buttons on the left side, and the keys were on the right. I remember that I got tired of the chords and learned the basic one's: C, D, G, & F, and began to pick out songs that I liked. When I was taking the Creative Writing course, I would sneak into the piano rooms where they had upright Baldwin's and would play on them. Eventually, they locked the doors.

When I was 37, I wrote my first song and had someone write out the notes. From 37 to 70, I have been writing songs, some with words, some with just melodies.

For the past 2 years, I have been a volunteer piano player at Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta, GA, and played for 2 hours, two times a month. Now, that the museum is closed, either indefinitely or whatever, this venue is over for now, and I am looking for other ways to express the music.

All of the songs on my site are original. As you can see, there are a lot of them and the list gets longer as I have time to record put the songs on the site.

I have made the songs available to be played without cost, but please do not copy and say that they are yours. Some are copyrighted, but I won't tell you which one's are, so if one's that are are used without permission, then I will know.

My wife and I have been involved in ministry for the last 30 years or so, and have been to Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Argentina, and Brazil. We teach whenever we get an invite...usually not much these days.
